Well, the replies to this will probably be full of "BTDT's", but not to this exact situation :funny:
Basically, someone I've known for years, and just before I was about to move down here to FL (she lives here...) she and I start really flirting with eachother and we basically agreed for us to wait until Im down here and then start going out, right?
Well, I get here, and then she starts blowing me off. First instinct is "she's met someone else or found one of those damned BFF's women sometimes get". So I just bide my time and kinda wait to see what happens.
I move into a house, finally, and she finally tells me whats up. Her FIRST BF ever moved back down from NY (and yeah, hes a LOOOOSER) and her feelings for him were so strong she just had to go back to him and could not tell me. Shes in a pretty unique situation, so, as much as I'd like to, I did not hate her, I did not say anything mean, I just accepted it.
So, the next day she says hes missed work and might have to go back up to New York, and I'm speechless.
Then today I find out she called his house and his dad said he DID go back to New York... for a girl up there. The real funny thing here is that the first time he ran up and ditched her he never told her, someone else did, and its after he was in New York.
Even when she thought she had him she said "You're like the perfect boyfriend and I blew it" and now that she does not have him shes really fucking sorry, in her own words.
To be brutally honest, I really dont know what to do, or think, except just sit astonished at how fast karma can catch up to your ass! I dont hate her, I still care about her, but most likely she only likes me now because he is not around, and I'm still not sure if she lost attraction to me and just went at the first thing she could find anyway.
So... wtf do I do here? All my male friends say revenge fuck her and ditch her, but Im just not that malicious. Hell, my female friends are even MORE angry at her than me or my male ones... I guess I'm just not one to be vengeful? Then again, considering her past, her feelings being mixed up and her inability to communicate is not a surprise.
Meh. Women... I swear to god. :(
