ok the poll is just for fun :funny:
but we used to play paintball, now I am debating if my friends and i should play airsoft or bb gun wars (with rules)
We only play like woodsball ,capture the flag with about 4-6 ppl most of the time so simple = better.
paintball
disadvantage - messy , poor range (50yards or less), see paintballs in air, expensive ammo, large drop in trajectory, need co2
won't feed if gun not verticle; good guns can be expensive; paintballs break on itty bitty twigs, or don't break at range/ or at random
advantage - marks opponent, shoots fast, big games, popular
airsoft
disadvantage - many not truely biodegradable, must charge batteries for AEGs, guns looks so realistic could get shoot or arrested, highly upgraded AEG guns are unreliable and expensive, gas blow back pistol are pos; trajectory is arched still; wind; based on honor system
advantage - range is reasonible 50-80yards on a precision rifle, not messy ,
cheap ammo, look realistic and uses realistic sights, big games; will shoot through some brush
bb guns
disadvantage - must wear 100% clothe and face coverage for protection, unpopular, ppl could pump gun too much if allowing 10 pump guns into games,
steel bb's can cause serious injury, crappy optics selection; slow shooting guns mostly; co2 powered guns way too powerful; players must follow rules or get injured, based on honor system; cannot use lead pellets too dangerous and heavy(retained energy)
advantage - range is much farther , even on two pumps we could get hits at >100yrds, ammo cheap, guns cheap, trajectory is reasonible
working on finding a 1 pump only 400-450fps bb gun that is accurate.
