Went out with some friends then my boss of my 2nd job called to ask me to lock up tonight, so I did and I was coming home around 2:30 doing 40mph on 360 because it was raining so hard. Next thing I know I am being pulled over by grand prairie PD. He drilled me on how much I was drinking (had 4 beers since 7:30 and had none since midnight) and if i was on any other substance, and he explained his questioning by stating people who drive 40mph on the highway are typically under some type of influence, and I explained that it was pouring down rain and was hydroplaining at speeds of above 50mph. He looked at my tires and basically called me a liar because my tires are in perfect shape with lots of tread. This dance went back and forth for a while and he basically was very dimeaning towards me and showed no respect while I gave him all the respect he deserved. Drove away with no ticket just a lecture about me possible being a substance abusing kid in a sports car that had no right to be on the road at 2:30ish

Age-ism. Anyone under 25 is just some dumb punk kid that thinks he knows everything. I don't know how old you are, but sounds like a case of age descrimination. We've all been there- I was pulled over 12 times in one year, heard every excuse in the book. THe result- one ticket. My license plate had slid off the dashboard and landed on the pass. floor. The cop saw it there, gave me a ticket anyway. You did the right thing, give him the respect he so desperately craves, smile and nod.

Well I am 28 but look like I might be 20, but doubt he could have seen me with all the rain and my tinted windows, your right about making him get wet but at the same time I would of got soaked also as well as the interior of my car. Should of pulled just inside the bridge so he would of had to stop in the rain but then I might of been screwed with harder.

Fixed.
