Just heard on a country radio station that the restaraunts are closing in McKinney because there is no water. And there won't be for 24 hours. Didn't catch why yet...........
Anyone hear anything more on that yet?? Or is anyone else's city affected? This is some bullshit! :(

YUp.. apparently the water main at the main collin county water plant burst. Now all of McKinney, Allen, Plano, Frisco, the Colony, Melissa, Prosper, Wylie, Murphy, and a few others are on emergency water conservation. No unecessary usage if you are fortunate to still have water. Some cities are expected to be out of water w/in 8hours. SUCKS!! :mad:

Well I sent Richard home to fill up all the tubs and sinks so we would still have some water for tonight. Hopefully it won't drain! :o

We got water too.. I just took a dump and it was a double flusher.. No probs here!

Well the pipe is fixed and the levels are rising. we can use our water!!

YAY FOR BATHING!! :D :D :D

And thank god for being able to double flush... *hunts for lysol*

*grumbles about Joel and burritos*


Still no outside watering.. that's fine.. I have a large pitcher and some thirsty plants :D

People here at work were saying that City water trucks were going around turning off the water main for houses that were watering. That would suck.
