i was at my bros apt for about an hour last night in plano off spring creek maybe 10somin when i left
so i parked right in the same spot as a neighbor of his has a bike also, not even particularily nice one, newer but I think his body work still needed paint or somethin (never looked at it honestly)
today my friend said they walked out there 5 mins after i left and the bike was gone. they came after just grabbing some food and they said he was out there saying his shit just got stolen.
No shit! DO NOT LEAVE your bikes anywhere, unless you have a scope and rifle trained on it.

Damn, that sucks. That is why the Harley stays in the garage. And if I go out anywhere I ALWAYS lock the forks turned all the way. They would have to pick that 900+ pound beast up if they want to steal it... if they want it bad enough to go through that, they can have it.

Do they have alarm systems for bikes? Could you get Lojack for them?

yeah, alarms systems don't really help , truth be told
lojack would work , but it just costs and awful lot for a bike
the prob is bikes are toys, don't cost like 40K, and are frequently disassembled promptly when stolen. Unlike cars where you could easily hide a lojack.
the best thing I hear is just don't leave your bike anywhere.
