I am still going to be staying with ford but i am going to be sooting for sub 9's on a street car.

Custom cage
dart race engine 351 W (stroked)
4340 internals
J&P Pistions
Narrowed frame rails
narrowed 9 Inch
410 Gears
4 link
all sitting on weld magnums
Large amonts of Spray (600 +)

And still keeping it tagged and inspected HAHAHAHAHAHA

Car is going to be Mitsubishi Yellow with dodge Gun Metal gray Deluxe Racing stripes

Going to use a Powerglide i am sure.
I have been kicking around either a C4 or a glide just haven't decided.
Guy from Seagoville is going to be building the motor.

well i'm getting a stock C4 soon, dont know if you want it or alreadly have it, but i'm going to be looking for a T5 soon enough. my friend has been going on about manual valvebody on an AOD.

thanks I think that I am going to go with a glide or a link or top loader. want ot have around 1000 + horsepower. C4 wont handle it.

They can build a C4 to handle it. But you will have to service it two or three times a year. Go the Powerglide route. The only problem with them is you only have two gears. Fast and Faster......... :D
