I posted this question on the V8RX7 board but recieved no reply. I am putting an LS1/T56 in my 89 RX7. The engine won't sit low enough to be level with the diff, which already offset 3/4 " to the passenger side. The two solutions are move the steering rack forward ( a PITA!) or move the engine/tranny 3/4 " and have the offset vertically. Can anyone tell me just how critical this alignment is ?
