I have seen, most of the people who drive Automotic Tranny. They want to increase Line pressure and firm shiftting.
Why they do that ?
What is the Benefit ?
or its justa personal like or dislike ?

Mir, be very careful in doing this....increasing the line pressure is a surefire was to blow a tranny up...as many people who has tuning learned (search for some of the threads on LS1.com about tuning and how line pressure blew up trannies..)
If you wanna firm up shifting, just get a TransGO Shift Kit, or I believe B&M makes one that is able to be toggled...you can have the kit ON for racing, and OFF for street driving....that way it prolongs the life of the transmission...
Of course the ultimate weapon would be a built tranny from Rock-On...I have felt trannies built by them, both with and without converters...and DAMN they shift nice ;)

All increasing line pressure does is firm up shifts.. in other words it helps get rid of the lag between gears and makes it shift harder.
And Mini, I know plenty of cars without shift kits that are doing just fine ;) I personally don't believe you need one. If you don't go overboard on the line pressure and just do a few changes and delete TM you're fine. My car runs AWESOME w/o a built tranny. Sooooo.... it's a hot topic of debate. I say I'm driving something that works fine so I'll stick with it. :)
You need to feel how my car shifts w/ the converter but w/o built tranny. I bet you'll still like it :)

SO its just feel good MOD
No performance mod

Mir, it is kinda like when shifting your 6-speed you ease the clutch out for a smooth engagement.. You want it to hit and grab a little harder you drop the cluctch.. Shift kit is kind of the same concept.. And it also shortens the shift cycle.. You may gain a little bit in ET but not a signifigant amount IMHO...
