dammit my rear main started leaking again
this is where im at.
engine i rebuilt had 150K+ miles on it, new one piece rearmain installed, sealed around edges, inside lubed so it won't get burned
leaked like a loose hooker for a hundred miles
engine was out so i installed a felpro repair sleeve on the crank, bitch to intall. Supposed to fix a common problem with old 5.0 cranks- they apparently get a slight groove.
stays sealed great for 700+miles.
now it's leaking again, not as bad, but im pissed.
Does anyone know shit about this besides the obvious? - buy a crank or stroke kit.
oil pump is stock melling replacement.
