I just ordered my Walbro 340 in tank pump. Anyone have any experience putting these in?
I can get a shop to do it for 150, but I would liek to do it myself.
This is the final step on my 150 dry shot project.
Car is an 02, so I could not do the racetronix plug and play.
I am goignt obe pushing it based on the injectors, but it may be safe.
The 28s were holding up fine for the 100 shot, so the 36s should hold the 150.
Also, I am going to run the MAFT again as a safety item. I am going to set it full rich on the WOT. Anyone can think of anything else?
Or maybe I need to do a 2 stage 100 wet, 50 dry.

The tank will have to be dropped to put the new pump in, or... you can cut an access panel in the topside and get to it through that...

So, which one do you feel like doing? I mean, you are volunteering, aren't you?

Thanks Allen. Maybe you could bring the pump booster thingy as well.
(let me see if I can get LA to fit it into the budget)

Pump is here, but I refuse to install the day before TMCCC.
Gonna have to limit the shot to 75 or 100.
All I cn say i sthat Walbro is a small little pump. I can't believe it flows 255.

Yeah, from what I know now(running a new pump myself now) this will be an all day ordeal.... but it'll be easier if we cut an access panel... now that I know exactly where they sit, I know how much needs to be cut and where....

What pump did you go with?
I am game for cuting a hole in the back, no biggie.
From what I have read, the swaqp top the walbro is quite a bit more complicated than expected.
Let me know what all you had to do,
