How long does it take to set up a Harlan Shift-light complete with a place to have it somewhat hidden? I have one that I have been meaning to have installed...and would kinda like to have it installed before TMCCC ;)

Matt, I had one on the SS remember? they are a breeze to install, just tap it into a power wire, ground it, and tap it into the tach line.
Then just find a nifty place for it. I had mine inside the center air vents where it wasn't visible until it lit. If you need help just Pm me and i'll come help, since you helped with all my nitrous : )

Also it's pretty simple to set the rpm... I wanted to shift mine at 5800, but i set it at 5600 due to my reaction time.

Do you have the guide from their webiste? If i remember right with the lt1, you just use the settings for the normal v8's.
ls1's had it's own settings.
I don't remember their website, but if you can post a link i can tell you exactly what you need to do for your specific rpm.
btw: what do you what to set it at?

I wanna shift at 5800 since with the cam I put in I will need to raise my shift points anyways ;)

Here's a link to an install... albeit on an LS1, but the charts down the page show you how to program it....

I would love to get it installed in the defroster vent...but the vent is too small from what I was seeing...unless I somehow make it larger or rig it inside the pillar somehow....
Where is yours at Baskett? Oh... I am sending you a pm about a question I have...
