2.9 mile road course on an old 2 mile high-banked NASCAR track.
The front stretch was over 1/2 mile long! I was able to get over 130 before my nutsack told me to shut it down for turn 1 entry ... with a little more experience and a little more balls, 140 is easily obtained ....
Here is a video of James (red Z), me (white TA), Kevin (black FirehaNk) and Glenn (ghost flamed Z) on the front straight ...

Great Mitch. Thanks for sharing the video. :yeah: You're making me wish I had the money to get the suspension work done on my baby and start playing on the twisties. :)

And I'll say it again ....
Get good brake fluid and good brake pads and go have some fun.
Suspension work is ONLY a necessity if you wanna run really fast laptimes or need a crutch for bad driving. Guess why I have them? ;)

There were 5 F-Bods out there in our little group.
Sunday morning we arranged with teh track, promoter and photographer to get us going in a group down the front straight.
It is a sweet pic. I should have it via mail in a few days. I be sure to post a link ....

Yeah well I need new brakes or at least the rotors turned. As for the bad driving, I guess we'll have to see. ;)

Texas World Speedway is located just south of College Station Texas off of highway 6. You can't miss it since it's right off the highway on the east side.
I've GOT to get down there sometime soon to see how the little Hyundai does on that course!
And yes, good brakes are a MUST for ANY road crouse, especially if you can do 100+ mph on it.

The Coop ran out of breath on several portions of the track.
Don't let it fool you. We can't pass unless we get a point by. We came upon some of these folks pretty fast ...
First time I've ever REALLY felt "the draft" work ...
