Caravan information for Thunder Valley...

You will need at least 2 or 3 caravan spots. The track is off of 35 in Noble, OK.

One caravan will have to leave from Houston to Noble (make sure you guys guarantee rooms for late arrival). A second caravan can leave from Denton. I suggest the Plano people meet up at Chucks and caravan to Denton to meet up with the main caravan.

Last year we left from Chucks at 4pm and made it to the hotel by roughly 7:30pm after stopping once. If I remember correctly the track is approximately a 20 minute drive or so from the hotel. The gates open at 9am and time trials start at 9:30am. Thunder Valley does a pretty strict tech. If you're running a vert no matter what class you run in, they will require you to have a helmut.

You guys will need to decide and post up where you will be meeting at in Houston and Denton. You will also need to decide on when you will be leaving. Everyone else, please post up which caravan you will be joining.

ok guys we will meet at cracker barrel (sp) on I35 and hwy 380 (university dr) at 630 sunday morning . we will go to noble from there . never been there before but have directions . if any body else has been there before and going up sunday we would like you to leed . if not i'm sure we can find it .

I posted them in the other thread, here they are again. :) The track is really easy to find. If I remember correctly the hotel is one exit past the exit for the track. You'll see it directly to your right as you exit the freeway.

Directions to the track:

I 35 norht. Exit 108A in norman, (Hwy 9 east) 5 miles. Take Hwy 77 South to Noble, go through Noble (watch speed limits). 2 miles south of Noble turn right on 48th Street. This dead ends into the track.

Man, don't bring that up. It's bad enough that a Chevy broke. A Ford towing it back to Dallas only adds insult to injury...
