Torquecentral.com had a good turn out at Hallsville last year. We've slid to fourth place as a team in overall points, so let's regain the upward momentum. There is no reason we should not have one hell of a turn out. Thunder Valley Raceway is a GREAT track, and since it's in OK, we can really be the sleepers of this event if we managed to bring a big crowd!

Now everyone needs to post up so we can make sure there will be food & drinks enough to go around. There's nothing an Italian hates worse than running out of food. ;) Donations toward the food fund will be accepted. :D

Chetta, are we talking about staying the night before and the hooking out there in the morning or driving up that morning and staying that night? personally I'd like to stay the night before (work monday)

Go ahead and put Joel in the bird down for racing and me as a spectator :) We'll be there with bells on (ok not really but it sounds good) And we'll bring the grill as usual if needs be :)

I think we need to sorta figure this out...

This event is the day AFTER Larry's wedding, so some of us will be hauling ass to OK from Houston that night. Some may want to stay in Noble that day, I'm sure, and others will want to drive out on Sunday Morning early.

To that end, I will volunteer to lead (or have Michele lead, If I'm sleeping) the caravan from Houston to Noble. There probably needs to be one from Dallas to Noble on Sat AND Sun.

Let's RECRUIT LIKE MAD, and get as MANY PEOPLE out there as possible. With a big crowd at this event, we COULD jump to 2nd.

Further, for the next 4 thursday nights, I WILL be at Denton Dragway, and we're going to practice our Bracket Racing. We need to improve our points per car ratio!

I'd like to drive out the day before personally.. Joel and I are in Allen and a straight shot to OK up 75.. we can do a caravan for the Dallas to Noble peeps if anyone is interested in going the day before? (Allen? ;) ) Don't know if we are trailering the bird again but both cars are going regardless :)

Exit 108A in norman, (Hwy 9 east) 5 miles. Take Hwy 77 South to Noble, go through Noble (watch speed limits). 2 miles south of Noble turn right on 48th Street. This dead ends into the track.

This hotel gave us a racers rate when booking the rooms. Be sure to have for the racers rate.

I will not be able to make this race guys, sorry. You will need to forrage for your own food this time. With the turn outs we have been having so far this season, I've been taking between 25 & 30 hamburgers, 30 to 35 hot dogs, 2 to 3 cases of sodas, misc amounts of bottled water and gatorade.

Since Allen is the closest, if he'd like to and has time, we can get him the canopy prior to the race.

Scrappy, Joel is *supposed* to be reserving us a room ;) Which means I better do it :D We are driving up the night before so we don't have to mess with hauling booty to get there and risk getting pulled over if we over sleep :) If anyone wants to car pool, let us know... we're up North on a straight shot to OK from our house and we're taking the bird and the support vehicle :)

Joel, they won't have any problems. Last year we had the hood popped on Josh's car to see why it wasn't starting and then we popped my hood later to hook up the cold air kit. ;) Nothing was said about the beer or repairs. ;)
