Again I'd like to thank everyone who made it out to Ennis today. We had another good showing, 17 racers. :yeah: 8 of our 17 racers made it past the first elimination. Of the 8 making it past the first elimination, 4 made it to the quarter finals of their bracket, 2 to the semi finals and 1 to the finals. Congratulations to Aaron Powell aka funkybunchjr for winning the Super Muscle bracket. :)

Scott Jamison and Joel Ricketts represented Torquecentral.com in the Race of Champions. Joel was able to make it to the quarter finals before being eliminated. Our own president, Scott yyz28 Jamison, won the Race of Champions. Way to go Scott. :D This automatically makes him eligible to run in the big dog race at Redline Raceway during the final TMCCC event of this season. His win makes Scott ineligible to race again in the Race of Champions for the rest of the season. We will continue to rotate sending racers to the Race of Champions at each remaining event in hopes we can send a few others with Scott to the big dog race at Redline. :)

The following is a breakdown of runs by racer within brackets. I’ve estimated the points won per driver. Once the official results are posted by the TMCCC I’ll be sure to share them with you. TMCCC hopes to have the club challenge results later this week. I'll be passing those results along as well. :)

Unoffically we earned 40 points at this event. :D

Not unless he made it past the first round of eliminations he didn't. You don't earn team points for race of champions.

Damn Girl.. My last name is spelled, for the umpteenth billion time,

J A M I S O N. NO farkin' E.

Thanks! ;) :p

Damn, busted for spelling by an atheist, what's the world coming to? :stick: As for the name mispelling, it's an honest mistake. One of my former employees was Robin Jamieson. :stick: Type that on 50 bazillion forms, emails, reviews, etc. and it becomes second nature.

There is no race next Sunday Mike. Our next race is Sunday, April 6, 2003 at Denton. :D

Bud thanks for pointing that out. It's hard to keep track of everyone on raceday, just ask Michele who was helping me collect the results.

Thanks Donald, we missed having you there. We're looking forward to Denton and Hallsville our next two events. :D

no points for ROC? damn, that sucks...

chetta
03-17-2003, 11:14 AM
ROC is more for the individuals than for the club. We're just as excited when someone wins ROC as if they win their bracket. :) And winning the ROC enters them into the big dog event at the last race of the season at RedLine Raceway. :)
